Apple Watch battery life revealed, will get 18 hours on a single charge

Apple announced today during its Spring Forward event that the Apple Watch will get “all-day battery.” To be more exact, CEO Tim Cook specified that the wearable device will get 18 hours on a single charge, confirming reports from 9to5Mac’s own sources last week.

    18 hours of “typical use”.

    2 hours on the first day when you can’t stop playing with it?

      That’s true. And a few people will complain how short the battery life is, and a week later will admit that it normally lasts well over a day.

    On the battery-detail page, there’s a nice unmentioned feature of the Watch:
    If your battery gets too low, Apple Watch automatically switches into Power Reserve mode so you can continue to see the time for up to 72 hours.
