WWDC app refreshed with Apple Watch support, session schedule, more

Apple has just released version 3.0 of its WWDC app for iPhone and iPad ahead of the big developer conference kicking off on June 8th. Notably, the updated version includes support for the Apple Watch for viewing conference info from the new device, including a WWDC glance:

The WWDC app is now available for Apple Watch, so you can access conference information right from your wrist. You can also add sessions to Calendar, listen to session audio after you’ve left the app or locked your device, give feedback on session videos directly in the Videos tab, and utilize improved accessibility

The new version changes the icon from bright orange to a purple gradient while the theme inside matches. The updated iOS app also includes the schedule for the conference with many sessions labeled at TBA with comical names, naturally.

Developers attending WWDC can also find their ticket to Apple’s big conference within the app. Video content currently includes viewable sessions from previous years, but once the conference kicks off will feature the latest information from this year.

Theres a scheduled CarPlay lab in there, and it mentions making your audio app work with CarPlay and doesn’t say it’s restricted to invited attendees only. #CarKit It is for Tuesday at 1:30pm!
