Apple launches variety of new Apple Watch models and band colors

Alongside the launch of a new Space Black Milanese Loop and range of nylon bands, Apple has also refreshed some of its other models and bands with new colors. We’ve listed every single new model Apple sells from today after the break. Note that all Sport models (featuring a rubber or nylon band) now start at a new lower price … $299 for 38 mm and $349 for 42 mm. Prices for the steel Apple Watch remain unchanged.

In the Sport lineup, Apple now offers a 38 mm and 42 mm Silver Apple Watch Sport with Yellow Sport Band. Moreover, it now offers a 38 mm and 42 mm Silver Apple Watch with an ‘Apricot’ Sport Band, a kind of red/pink color. In addition, there is now a Silver 38 mm and 42 mm Sport Watch with Royal Blue rubber band, which is a darker shade than the existing pale blue Sport band.

Obviously, it is now selling a myriad of Watches with woven nylon bands. This includes a 38 mm Silver Watch with Pink Nylon Band, a 42 mm Silver Watch with Scuba Blue Nylon, a 38 mm Gold Watch with Gold/Red Woven Nylon and a 42 mm Gold Aluminum Watch with Gold/Royal Blue Woven Nylon. Moreover, Apple says that a pair of Rose Gold Apple Watches with Royal Blue Woven Nylon are coming soon.

For people who prefer darker shades of casing, there is also now a 38 mm Space Grey Sport with Black Woven Nylon and 42 mm Space Gray Sport with Black Woven Nylon.

In the premium stainless steel Apple Watch collection, there are also a few new additions. For fans of the Classic Buckle, Apple offers a new 38 mm Watch with Red Classic Buckle and a 42 mm Watch with Marine Blue Classic Buckle.

There is also a striking yellow 38 mm Marigold Modern Buckle and a ‘Blue Jay’ turquoise Modern Buckle.

Leather Loops also now come in White and Storm Gray, with a 42 mm Stainless Steel Apple Watch.

Moreover, there are special nylon bands for the stainless steel collection. These are described as ‘Pearl Woven Nylon’ bands (pearl meaning the silvery color, they aren’t made of pearl materials) and come in either 38 mm or 42 mm sizes.

To round out the new entrants, there are two new Space Black watches which come fitted with the Space Black Milanese Loop.

I like the woven bands, compared to the poly bands.

  2. Benjamin Mayo, What new watch models did you see? Because I saw none – Only thing talk about for the Apple Watch was bands. Your article is so misleading.

Agreed, Unless Apple considers every possible watch/band combination to be a different model. but that would be nuts.

Yup. Article title is wrong. No new models at all. Why say that?

It’s about time Apple started selling watches and bands separately. There are too many *fixed* combinations now – total disaster. Let the people select for themselves the bands and the watches separately.
