iPhone 7 BOGO deal returns to AT&T, T-Mobile offering switchers free DirecTV Now, more

If you buy an iPhone 7 from AT&T this week, you can take home a second iPhone 7 for free thanks to the carrier’s latest BOGO offer. The buy one, get one free promo only runs through Christmas Eve, however, so you’ll have to jump on it fast. Meanwhile, T-Mobile is trying to steal a few AT&T customers with free year of the carrier’s new DirecTV Now streaming video service…

Between now and December 24th, AT&T customers can purchase an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus and redeem a free 32GB iPhone 7 (through bill credits) when adding a new line:

The offer is simple. For a limited time, customers can buy one and get one free after up to $695 in monthly bill credits on some of our most popular smartphones when they buy both on AT&T Next or AT&T Next Every Year with eligible service and add a new line.

AT&T’s buy one, get one free promo also works the Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5. The BOGO deal stacks with AT&T’s current offer for up to $650 in bill credits when you switch from another carrier and trade-in a smartphone.

T-Mobile is also targeting switchers specifically from AT&T with an offer for a free year of DirecTV Now which is AT&T’s new video service:

To get a free year of DIRECTV NOW covered by T-Mobile, AT&T customers just need to activate two lines and bring their number to T-Mobile ONE. The Un-carrier will give you a $35 monthly bill credit, the monthly cost of DIRECTV NOW, for 12 months – up to $420 total – as long as your lines are active. And, even if you hate DIRECTV NOW (we offer no guarantees, since it’s an AT&T product after all), you still get unlimited LTE data on a faster, more advanced network – all at a better price. All you do is win, win, win.

You can also get an iPad Mini 2 with LTE for $249.99 – it is T-Mobile but unlocked for other carriers.  Also don’t forget Target’s iPad Pro $150 off sale, starting at $449.

For its part, AT&T is offering any customer regardless of carrier a free 32GB Apple TV 4 (reg. $149.99) when pre-paying for three months of DirecTV Now which costs $105 at $35/month. Check out our hands-on with DirecTV Now below:

Verizon has its own iPhone offer for its subscribers for a limited time: a free iPhone 7 after you trade-in an eligible smartphone, or $10/month without a trade-in.

Not to be left out but less impressive, Sprint is offering its subscribers a free iPhone SE or $400 off an iPhone 6s on a new line when buying or leasing an iPhone 7 with unlimited data.

As with any carrier deal, pay attention to the fine print and restrictions before jumping in, and stay tuned to 9to5Toys for more last minute deals before the holidays.
