SwiftKey bringing its predictive gesture typing from Android to iOS w/ ‘Note’ app

SwitfKey, the popular Android app that replaces the stock on-screen keyboard with a gesture-based, predictive typing system, will soon arrive in an official iOS app from the same developers. While details are slim, the screenshot above from @evleaks comes with the caption “SwitfKey Note,” which we assume is a note taking app of sorts by looking at the image. Since Apple doesn’t allow users to change the system-wide on-screen keyboard to third-party alternatives like on Android, we assume that the gesture and predictive typing features will be accessible only within the new Note app.

First look at Moga’s upcoming “Ace Power” MFi iOS game controller w/ built-in 1800mAh battery

Since Apple first unveiled its new MFi game controller framework at WWDC earlier this year, we’ve already got a look at a couple controllers hitting the market in the near future from both Logitech and ClamCase. One of the other companies that Apple mentioned at WWDC was Moga, and today we get a look at what might be the first press shot for the company’s upcoming MFi controller dubbed “MOGA Ace Power” (via Evleaks). A second image below shows the controller when in “closed” mode without an iPhone docked:

We don’t get many details about the controller above, but judging by the configuration and the fact that Apple already announced Moga was working on a controller, it’s a pretty good chance we’re indeed looking at the company’s upcoming MFi controller. Like some of Moga’s current controller products, the Ace Power will apparently sport a 1800mAh battery that will charge your device while docked in the controller.

Boost Mobile to Offer iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c on November 8

Along with US Cellular who announced on Friday, Boost Mobile will now also offer the iPhone 5s and 5c on November 8th according to short press release this morning (below).

Boost is a Sprint Co. pre-paid sister site of Virgin, which also announced iPhone 5s and 5c availability last month with $100 off retail pricing and $30/month plans. Boost Mobile iPhone media (above) was leaked last month.

Nine other regional carriers have announced iPhone 5s/5c availability on November 1st.

Verizon to launch $100 off iPhone 5 deal in next few weeks?

Verizon is set to launch a new promotion taking $100 off the iPhone 5 later this month, according to evleaks.

We’re starting to see more competitive pricing between the carriers that that all the major companies and many smaller companies carry the the iPhone.

Sprint currently offers $100 off for new iPhone customers switching from other carriers while T-Mobile offers its iPhone 5 for $99 with a financing option.
