iPad App Store gets smarter with app Genius

Apple quietly added the Genius tab to the App Store on iPad this morning. The App Store will prompt you to agree to a new set of terms and conditions and then you will be able to find new apps that are similar to apps you have already downloaded. The concept is the same as on iTunes and iPhone/iPod touch App Store but the interface is slick and fits the iPad’s screen-real estate very well.

Apple also added a section within Genius called iPad Upgrades. This essential finds iPad versions of iPhone apps that you previously downloaded. These new additions on top of the “Try Before You Buy” section yesterday show Apple’s commitment to improving their App Store experience.
