UK Prime Minister is an Apple fan and iPad user

We already know the White House is full of iPad users, now it’s the same in the UK at Number 10 Downing Street, where Tory/Coalition Prime Minister David Cameron has come out to declare himself an iPad (and Mac) user.

Speaking to the Telegraph this weekend, Cameron stressed his Apple credentials:

“I’m very proud of the fact that I’ve got an iMac and I’ve got a speaker remotely linked without a wire, which I did myself. I have all the music on the iMac. The cool thing is that I now control my iMac from the iPad, to play out through the speaker.”

While he’s known for using his government-approved BlackBerry, he’s also an iTunes user who urged historian Simon Schama to send his series ‘The Power of Art’ in a digital format so he could “get it on my iPad”.

Cameron’s clearly one of the 80 percent of iPad users who declare themselves to be “very satisfied” with the device.
