Apple slashes Mac mini prices (in Europe, US follows?)

Apple has cut €100 off of the European price of the Mac mini — the price cut is trans-European, it is also available at the UK store.

The Mac mini — now equipped with an HDMI port among other delightful features — is now available for just €709 from most European stores, or for £599 (formerly £649) from the UK store.

However, customers who ordered one of these Macs at the old price yesterday are still being charged the old €809 price.

The new price extends to the 2.4 GHz Mac mini with 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB Ram, 320GB hard drive and Nvidia GeForce 320M graphics card. The media server Mac mini now costs £879 in the UK, down from £929, or €999 (formerly €1,149) in the rest of Europe .

At time of writing the US price remains unchanged.
