We’re hearing word of sporadic iMessage outages this weekend

Although Apple’s iCloud System Status thinks all is good, clearly not all is well in Maiden. We received a load of tips over the past day or so claiming iMessages are randomly not going through, people are not able to sign in (“activation issues”), and messages are randomly deleting. Others are not having any issues (or are not aware of any). Here are just a few of our readers’ responses:

@9to5mac Serious bug affecting iMessage and FaceTime. Aren’t working or are impossible to activate. Lots of people are having this issue !

@9to5mac can't send or receive iMessages on my iPhone, but my iPad works just fine.

@9to5mac always had issues with it. Messages doubling up. Now my bf got rid of his iPhone I had to turn it off, texts were still going to it

@9to5mac Messages on my Mac kept telling me I had 2-3 unread messages. It would randomly increase, then decrease. Weird.
