UK comedian stages Irish flash mob protest at Regent Street Apple Store following tax debate

Alleged UK comedian Mark Thomas used his power and fame for advocacy earlier this week at the Regent Street Apple Store  as he led a staged flash mob protesting Apple’s tax practices.

50 or so attendees participated at the in-store protest holding up signs that read “Apple iDodge Tax” as Irish music played and passersby curiously observed. The flash mob protest lasted about 2 minutes and did little to disrupt the store operations aside from causing a minor traffic jam at the store entry, but that’s not unfamiliar at the oft visited UK location or any Apple Store for that matter.

Perhaps the flash mob was more constructive than the Congressional hearings Apple voluntary attended last month.
