Taco Bell’s new iPhone app lets you order before you arrive

The popular fine dining restaurant chain Taco Bell has blacked out its Facebook and Twitter accounts as well as its website today to draw full attention to its new iPhone app. Why? Because you can finally order your Nacho Cheese Doritos® Chips Taco Supreme® right from your iPhone and pay in the app.

Taco Bell says they won’t make your meal until you arrive because freshness and quality is highly considered, but you do get the added benefit of skipping the line, saving your favorite meal combinations, and, well, buying Taco Bell with your phone. The app doesn’t support Apple Pay at launch, so you have to manually enter your credit card information like an animal or you can use your Taco Bell card if you’re that committed to the chain.

Taco Bell’s new app is available for free on the App Store, but you still have to pay for the burrito (in more ways than one, probably).

“so you have to manually enter your credit card information like an animal”

Best thing I’ve read all day.

I am a little disgusted with their statement that “freshness and quality is highly considered”. I would not eat there if freshness and quality is only considered…

  3. I’m not sure people that have an iPhone, eat at such a place. You’ve got to be a very uneducated person to put such “stuff” into your body. You only have one.
