Incase has always been one of our favorite brands selling bags for Apple and camera gear. You’ve likely seen their bags in Apple stores and on Apple’s online store. But for the new REFORM collection launching next month, 9to5Mac readers get access before anyone else.

Starting today, 9to5Mac readers only can purchase the bag before they’ve launched to the public and have their order ship before the launch date next month. All orders of the new Incase bags during our exclusive presale event using promo code “9to5Mac” will also get a free Portable Power 2500 battery pack worth $50.

In addition, you’ll also be automatically entered into a giveaway to win an Incase bag full of accessories for your Apple devices (details below).

First look at Incase’s Reform Collection w/ Ecoya Fabric:

Incase’s Reform collection uses the company’s new eco-friendly Ecoya Fabric. Here’s what makes it different: During manufacturing it undergoes a special eco-dying process that is easier on the environment and creates a longer-lasting material. In fact, the process emits 62% less CO2 and COD, saves 89% more water, and uses 63% less energy than the typical dying process. Aside from giving planet earth a pollution break, I still found the Ecoya Fabric bags to be super durable: they’ll even stand up better to light exposure and cleaning with colors of the Ecoya Fabric less likely to fade or run.

That means you’ll feel better about using an Incase Reform Collection bag because of its environmentally friendly manufacturing process and look better longer since that same process creates a more durable fabric. But even without all of that, the Ecoya Fabric looks and feels much higher quality than bags in its price range.

Reform Tensaerlite Brief ($89.95):

Available in 13 and 15-inch variants, I think this is perfect everyday bag for keeping a MacBook Air or Pro in tow. I like to use the included over-the-shoulder strap, but it can also be carried by a small handle on its topside. There are two major compartments for storing items: the backside area is for a MacBook, while the frontside pocket has various sized pockets for carrying an iPad and other accessories. The MacBook space features Incase’s Tensaerlite performance technology, which is a protective exoskeleton, magnetic closure, and faux fur. I had no worries about my MacBook getting scratched or dented during everyday use with this bag. It’s a smart choice for students and professionals.

Reform Action Camera Pack ($99.95):

This backpack keeps your action camera and other gadgets safe and accessible while on-the-go. I found its standout feature to be a padded area that’s perfectly sized for a GoPro and an accessory. It’s suspended at the top of the bag so it doesn’t smash into the ground when you drop or bump it. There’s also a side zipper that reveals the main compartment. I found this feature to be super convenient as it gave me access to my bag without having to fully take it off. At the very back of this pack is a slim compartment lined with faux fur that I used for my MacBook Air, but it also fits an iPad without any issue. Padded shoulder straps and back panel made for a comfortable all around fit. I would recommend this pack for anyone who needs quick access to a camera during the course of a day.

There’s also another version of this bag ($149.95) that includes Tensaerlite protection for a 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro.

Reform Sling Pack for 12-inch MacBook ($99.95):

This is one of the most comfortable packs I’ve ever worn. The single strap lays perfectly across my chest — it feels secure but not too tight making it uncomfortable. Just like the Reform Action Camera Pack, the Sling’s backside is padded, which made it even more comfortable. I’m all about personal security so I love the stash pocket behind the rear padding. I kept my wallet  and iPhone in it, but I could definitely see myself using it for my passport while traveling abroad. The built-in laptop sleeve fits MacBooks up to 13-inches, but also perfectly accommodates Apple’s new 12-inch MacBook. I would recommend this pack for day trips and everyday use.incase-reform-ecoya-bags
