The Apple Watch, originally launched in nine countries, hits seven more today – with a further rollout on July 17th. Apple has so far added the July 17th date to its websites in the Netherlands, Sweden and Thailand.
The countries going live today include Italy, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and Taiwan …
After the initial online-only launch, Apple added a Reserve & Pickup system for launch countries earlier this month. Those who waited for store availability are getting surprise collectible bags as part of the deal.

Last time I checked Apple European HQ was located in Cork, Ireland. I worked there for a few years…
Strange that Apple Watch is available in Sweden at 17 July, but not in Denmark and Norway.
Yes, nor Finland. I was surprised by that. As Apple hasn’t yet made any announcement about the date, I’m guessing that more countries will be added to the list between then and now.
There are Apple Stores in Sweden maybe that is why.

It’s odd to hear people asking about when they’re going to get their AppleWatch, but judging from the articles on the internet, there seems to be very little demand for AppleWatch in the places it is available. Just this morning they were claiming that hardly anyone showed up to buy AppleWatches in Singapore. They basically emphasized how consumers had turned out for other Apple products but not AppleWatch because they didn’t want AppleWatches. I’m pretty sure AppleWatch is generally being said to be a product with very disappointing sales up until now. An awful lot of people are using poor AppleWatch sales as a reason to get rid of Tim Cook. I’d think AppleWatch sales are going quite well or at least as well as can be expected for an iPhone accessory, but I’m definitely in the minority. I think it’s going to be difficult to get consumers to wear smartwatches if they don’t wear regular watches. If Apple has only sold 3 million AppleWatches, so far, I’m sure it’s a number that won’t please anyone except Tim Cook and Apple.
Sales will never come anywhere near iPhone levels because but it isn’t designed to. It is aimed at a particular set of people. I personally love mine, and am happy to get notifications on my wrist which is my prime use. Everything else is a bonus. And remember 3,000,000 may not sound like much, but that is apparantly 3 times more than the total number of Android Wear devices purchased in a year.

As much as Apple wants to avoid seeing this, the fact is that the Watch is WAY too expensive for a wearable that is going to be history next year or the year after at best.
Tim, lower the price (even for the straps the prices are ridiculous), improve the battery life and/or give us more convenient charging options than carrying a stethoscope along. Then, we can talk about sales.
Idea: use the hidden port to pass charging wires down the strap. Use aqua-phobic coating on the strap+watch near the hidden port. At the end of the strap have leads that attach magnetically to some MagSafe-like port, which is flush. Nothing protruding, just two flat surfaces magnetically aligned and attached. If it was me designing that, however, I’d just use a microUSB / Lightning port down the end. Only the end is relatively bulky and you can charge it anywhere, anytime. Problem solved.

I am living in Spain, but they don’t deliver to the Canary Islands. What a bummer :( Also the prices are quite interesting to have a look at.
