Nomad expands its Apple Watch band lineup with two new rugged Italian leather Straps

Apple isn’t the only strap maker expanding the Apple Watch band lineup with new leather colors this week. Nomad is introducing two new Strap colors for its leather Apple Watch bands: amber gray and rustic brown. The two new Nomad Straps join classic tan which debuted last fall, and all three Apple Watch bands come in 38mm and 42mm versions with either silver or black stainless steel lugs and buckles. Check out the new rugged Italian leather bands below:

All three Nomad Straps are made with Italian calfskin leather like Apple’s leather band options, which means the lighter colors will darken overtime with wear as leather ages. The metal lugs and buckles are made of the same 316L polished stainless steel as first-party Apple Watch bands, and Nomad includes detailed stitching which Apple saves for its $15,000 Apple Watch Edition leather straps. Nomad’s black metal options are also PVD treated to add scratch resistance to the finish.

You can order all three Nomad Straps (classic tan, amber gray, and rustic brown) online now for $150 each; no pre-order period. Nomad’s previously available Strap for Apple Watch is also available on Amazon. That’s comparable to Apple’s Classic Buckle leather Apple Watch bands which go for the same price, so if you’re looking for a different style then Nomad’s new options are worth checking out. The amber gray version centered below looks especially cool to me. Just be sure to pick the size and metal color when ordering.

Update: 9to5Mac readers can save $30 off the price of any Nomad Strap with the promo code ‘NEWSTRAP30’ at checkout.

9to5Mac will likely have a hands-on with the new Nomad Strap bands, so stay tuned…

These look pretty good, but I would never trust Nomad after the HORRIBLE pre-order experience I had with them with the watch stand.

They have them at Amazon and for a slight discount and some of them are listed as in stock.
