While the payment service may be facing some challenges outside the USA as it pushes into new countries like Singapore, uptake is growing rapidly, Apple adding a million new users per week. Transaction volumes have grown by 500% in the past year.

Grubhub says that 60% of its $2.4B annual food sales orders are placed via its mobile apps. Both Grubhub and Seamless are free downloads from iTunes.
