Nomad adds iPhone 6/6s cases to its new Horween Leather collection

Last week Apple accessory maker Nomad launched a new collection of Horween Leather-made products starting with two Lightning plus battery-equipped wallets. Today Nomad is expanding that collection with a new iPhone 6/6s case made with high quality leather from the Chicago company.

Nomad Leather Case for iPhone 6/6s goes for $39.95 and is available for pre-order starting today. Orders ship in just under a month on July 15th.

We sourced the finest leather from Horween Leather Co. of Chicago, one of America’s oldest and most renowned tanneries. We designed the case to develop a patina over time, creating a handsome, rich leather case with a look that is uniquely yours.

The style of Nomad Leather Case is very similar to Apple’s first-party iPhone 6/6s leather cases, but Nomad offers a bit more protection along the bottom while still keeping ports easy to access. Buttons are covered, the case edge has a raised lip around the display, and the whole case adds minimal thickness to the iPhone 6/6s.

Plus the Horween Leather comes from an iconic tannery and Nomad promises its leather case will age with patina which creates a darker, more rugged look. Branding wise, Nomad is conservative with Leather Case and only marks the inside which is covered with a micro-fiber lining.

Nomad offers a $15 Leather Conditioner separately to rejuvenate a roughed up case (or anything else leather you may own). Pre-oder Nomad Leather Case for iPhone 6/6s from Nomad‘s website.
