In this week’s top stories: Space Black iPhone 7 leaks, more MacBook Pro rumors, and Apple dukes it out with Spotify as reports emerge that Apple is in negotiations to acquire Jay-Z’s Tidal streaming service. Head below for all the handy links to these and our other top shared stories from the past week:

iPhone |

We kick things off with the latest iPhone 7 leaks, including reports of a new darker “Space Black” iPhone color option arriving with the next-generation iPhone this fall. Those reports, including one of our own, were followed up by a number of mockups from the community imagining what the new color might look like.

We questioned what Apple might do with the branding for this year’s iPhones as reports emerged that this year’s device could be a minor upgrade as Apple moves to a three-year refresh cycle for major hardware updates. One questionable report out of China this week claimed iPhone 7/Plus/Pro lines were being planned with 64/128/256GB storage tiers following a similar leak on pricing and models last week.

There was also a new report corroborating previous claims that the iPhone 7 will sport a new Force Touch Home button of sorts, while the latest round of leaked iPhone 7 photos claimed to show new (larger) cameras for both 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch models.

Mac |

And while iPhone 7 leaks received the most attention this week, our roundup of Everything we know about the rumored MacBook Pro w/ Touch ID, OLED fn keys & USB-C, a product that could debut before or at the same time as the new iPhone, comes in a close second.

AAPL |

As for company news, Apple’s heated response to Spotify’s ‘anticompetitive’ accusation letter was one of our top shared stories this week. And that followed reports that Apple is in negotiations to buy the Jay Z-owned Tidal streaming service.

Apple also revamped its iPhone Trade-up program by lowering max credit & relying on carrier financing, and a new patent showed how the company could stop iPhones from taking photos at concerts or sensitive locations.
