‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ iOS game adds Suicide Squad characters alongside new movie

Injustice: Gods Among Us, the popular iOS fighting game, today gets an update that adds characters and content from the new movie Suicide Squad making its debut in theaters this week. 

Introducing some very bad people, who can do some good. Play as Suicide Squad Deadshot, a brand new character in Injustice with unique fighting moves, and all new Special Moves. He is joined by Suicide Squad Harley Quinn and two new versions of The Joker from the Suicide Squad Movie – Suicide Squad The Joker, and Suicide Squad The Joker Unhinged. The Suicide Squad Joker Unhinged will be available in an all new Multiplayer season. All other characters will have distinct Challenges and be available for purchase in the store!

The game, which pits DC super heroes and villains against one another in 3-on-3 fights, is also adding other new content with today’s update. Version 2.11 includes a number of other rewards and items including the “Worst Heroes Ever Bundle” that will get you instant access to the full set of Suicide Squad characters if you don’t want to earn it.

The updated Injustice: Gods Among Us app is available on the App Store now. As always, the game is free to download and offers in-app purchases for various in-game items. A full list of what’s new is below.
