Apple doesn’t have its own Political Action Committee (PAC), so both Cook and Jackson attended as private citizens. Cook appears to be aiming to be bipartisan in his fundraising contributions, having previously hosted a fundraiser for Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan – a decision which attracted criticism from some quarters.
