Sprint launches new ‘Unlimited Freedom Premium’ plan w/ HD video streaming

Sprint today announced a new option for its Unlimited Freedom plans, allowing subscribers to get access to unlimited high-quality video streaming for $80/month.

For those customers who want to watch video, listen to music and stream games in higher resolution on their mobile devices, and for those wireless users who would like to stream movies and games on their HD TV, Sprint introduces Unlimited Freedom Premium. Now we offer two distinct options for customers who want unlimited

Previously the company offered its Unlimited Freedom plan for $60/month ($100 for 2 lines), but only guaranteed 480p video streaming, game streaming up to 2Mbps, and music streaming up to 500Kbps. That option is still available, but the new $80/month Unlimited Freedom Premium plan offers 1080p HD video streams, game streaming up to 8Mbps and music streaming up to 1.5Mbps. Sprint said the new plan includes “unlimited high speed data for most everything else”.
