Drop, a color picker utility for macOS, launches with Touch Bar support

Drop, a color picker for macOS, has launched today with support for the new MacBook Pro’s Touch Bar. Built by the Tapity app development team, Drop serves as lightweight tool allowing user’s to quickly select and grab colors on-screen, while also switching between a multitude of color formats. Colors grabbed can be added to the palette and automatically copied to the clipboard.

Developers and designers know that sometimes grabbing a few colors and saving them quickly can be a pain, and Drop solves just that. No more having to write things down, or searching for the HEX versus RGB color format variation as Drop includes everything right into the app. Upon launching the app, simply click the eyedropper and move the cursor over the color you’d like to grab. Scrolling in and out with the mouse or trackpad allows the loupe-style cursor to get further in and granular with what color you’re hunting after.
