Extra $10 on every iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and Apple Watch trade-in

With the iPhone X finally out, it’s time to sell your old phone and our buyback partners are offering an extra $10 on every trade-in through the end of the month. As the demand for the X continues to grow, the value of all older iPhones will begin to depreciate very quickly. If you were lucky enough to receive your phone already or if you will be receiving your new phone in the next few weeks, now is the time to act to maximize the value of your old phone with the coupon “9to5.”

Free $10

We are currently offering readers an extra $10 on every device trade-in through the end of November with code 9to5. This is on top of our already high buyback prices – we recently compared the buyback prices offered by our trade-in program versus those of Gazelle and BuyBackWorld and discovered that we pay more for the majority of devices. Our platform is very easy to use and will help you get a quote for your device in about 2 minutes. We will send you a box and return mailing label free of charge and pay you via check within a week of receiving your device. It literally couldn’t be easier.

Other places to sell your phone

Using a trade-in service like ours is not the only way to get rid of your old phone. Ebay, Craigslist, and Facebook marketplace are all popular options and will usually yield larger payouts. However, they do take more effort and you have to be careful about possible fraudsters. Remember when meeting anyone from Craigslist or Facebook to always meet in a well-lit and public area and to receive the money before handing over your phone. And on Ebay the main scams to be aware of are people asking to ship it to a different address than what’s on the account or receiving a spoof email from PayPal saying that money has been deposited in your account. Always login to your actual PayPal account before shipping your phone to verify a deposit and never trust an email alone.

Apple also offers an extensive trade-in program for iPhones with some very high prices. The main drawbacks with going through Apple is that they don’t offer cash so you would be getting a gift card,  they won’t pay for any device that is damaged, and they don’t offer anything for Apple Watches. But if you’ve been planning on a purchase from Apple for a while this could be a great option to help finance that.
