Here are four new watch faces coming to existing Apple Watches with watchOS 5 [Gallery]

With the introduction of Apple Watch Series 4, Apple also introduced a slew of new watch faces that was thought to only be available on the new Series 4 models.

However, we’ve discovered that old Apple Watch users running the watchOS 5 GM will also be getting the new faces, with a few caveats. We’ve been able to confirm that the new Breathe, fire and water, liquid metal, and vapor faces are available on all Apple Watch models capable of running the latest watchOS 5 GM release.

Obviously, the new complications will not be available on older models due to space constraints, however, users are still able to use the standard Apple Watch complications found on Series 3 and older.

Aside from that, the faces are fully functional. For example, the Breathe face has the options for classic, calm, and focus, while the fire and water face lets you pick between fire, water, or fire and water.

One watch face notably missing from the bunch is the Infograph and Infograph Modular with the curved complications. Similar to Series 3 with the Explorer face, it’s likely Apple is keeping it as an exclusive to the Series 4.
