Apple TV Remote and Support apps updated for larger screens, AppleCare and password features

UPDATE: Apple has also updated GarageBand for iOS today with new touch instruments and loops, as well as support for importing and playing back MIDI files.

With the release of iOS 12 today, Apple is updating both its Apple TV Remote and Apple Support apps. Both aim to bring a more seamless and friendly experience to users.

For Apple TV Remote, the app will now support the new screen sizes (iPhone XR and iPhone XS Max) as well as autofill passwords from your iOS device to your Apple TV.

For Apple Support, the app will now allow users to purchase and add AppleCare+ to existing devices. Users will now be able to more easily reset Apple ID passwords.

Updates to Apple TV Remote and Apple Support are available now through the App Store for iOS.
