Timing app for macOS updated with improved design, dark mode, Chinese localization, more

Popular time tracking app for macOS, Timing has just received its update for macOS Mojave. The new version includes support for dark mode, which combined with a design overhaul makes the app look great on the new macOS in both light and dark mode.

Timing allows users to track how their time is spent on the Mac automatically. It can be a great replacement for the Screen Time feature (new in iOS 12) which is not available on macOS, or if you need time reports for client work. For power users, the app has many customization options for every type of workflow.

Highlights from the release notes:

– Detailed tracking support for Mailplane (and thus Gmail), Bear, Dash and Opera.

– Integration with GrandTotal 5: tasks created in Timing will automatically show up in GrandTotal and can be inserted into invoices.

– A full Chinese translation.

– Full support for macOS Mojave.

– Dozens of improvements based on user feedback

The new version is a free upgrade for users who purchased Timing 2 on or after September 1st, 2017. For everyone else, a paid upgrade is available for the Productivity ($19), Professional ($29) and Expert ($49) versions. Timing can be downloaded from its website.
