New Apple Pencil for 2018 iPad Pro includes custom engrave option

In a slightly fun move, Apple is now offering engraving for the just-announced second-generation Apple Pencil. Just like the iPads, users will be able to add a hint of personality to their Apple Pencils.

Engraving on Apple Pencil will be free of charge, but will add a few extra days to shipping. Engraving is only available as a custom order online. However, you can pick up your order in store.

The second-generation Apple Pencil magnetically connects to your iPad, passing through power in the process. It also automagically pairs with your new iPad Pro without needing to connect to it through its USB-C port. The pencil also supports new touch gestures to allow quick swapping between different software-based pencil options.

Note that the new Apple Pencil only works on the just-announced 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pros, and will not work with any pervious generation iPads.
