Opinion: How iPhone naming should change in 2018 (and why it’s a marketing challenge)

Now that Apple has released the iPhone X, there are currently eight different iPhone models in the lineup. These include the SE, 6s and 6s Plus, 7 and 7 Plus, 8 and 8 Plus, and now the iPhone X. How does Apple intend to make sense of this if there are another three, possibly four, iPhones coming out next year? Here’s my proposal.

Hands-on with Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for iOS, now available a day early

For those who don’t know me very well, I am an unapologetic Nintendo fanboy. Almost everything they produce is a masterpiece to me. I was even a fan of the poorly-received Wii U and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild might be the best video game I’ve ever played. So what’s my take on Nintendo’s newly released Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for iOS so far? It’s only been out for a few hours (one day sooner than expected) and it’s already great although there are a few key downsides to expect.

Niantic wants Harry Potter to work his magic on its next AR game after Pokémon GO [Update]

Niantic is now famous for one of the highest grossing mobile games of all time with Pokémon GO. But what is next for the developer? Niantic seems to have set its sights on yet another enormous fan base with plans for a Harry Potter mobile augmented reality game.

Apple’s new Chicago flagship store is more than an architectural marvel [Gallery]

Apple opened a new flagship store in downtown Chicago yesterday and it is stunning. Sitting right along the Chicago River, Apple Michigan Avenue has been moved south about 5 blocks. 14 years ago Apple opened its first flagship store here in Chicago, and now they are doubling down on their mission: stores aren’t just for making money.
