iOS 8 came and went without any update to the dynamic wallpapers introduced with iOS 7, and now beta.icloud.com has changed its background from a dark, animated wallpaper from iOS to the orange and dark blue gradient wallpaper. I wonder if we’ll ever see new versions of those dynamic wallpapers or if they’ll eventually just be pulled from iOS altogether.
I suppose it’s also possible Apple is now using the two different wallpaper types to distinguish further between the public iCloud site and the beta iCloud site, but given the lack of attention given to dynamic wallpapers, I suspect it’s likely just replacing the animated one for the still gradient one.
I’m gonna miss the bubbles. I guess I’m one the few that actually likes the 3D affects, and shading. I liked the little red, yellow, green “LEDs” that appeared on the windows price to Yosemite.
I liked the bubbles.
