Celebrities love the Mickey face: Katy Perry shows off her Apple Watch Edition

Following Pharell, Katy Perry has today posted a picture on Instagram of her Apple Watch Edition, which are currently showing ship times of August in the Apple Online Store — limited edition indeed.

Pharell has the Apple Watch Edition with white band, but Perry has the more luxurious red leather version. Both celebrities seem to share a love for the Mickey Mouse face however.

Yeah, real shame no one will buy one. Ordered 6 mins after launch, also expected in June.

I ordered mine at 12:03 and I was already at 4-6 weeks. Then I went back online 3 hours later and ordered one for my girfriend and that one was at 4/24-5-8 (different watch: 38mm SS w/classic … the slow selling one).

For the people asking: Who would buy a 10K Apple watch???
This is who. Hollywood, young and old. And there are plenty of them, and very few Edition models to go around.

The news media had said no one will buy an AppleWatch because… no particular reason. They’ve probably just decided in advance that no one will buy an AppleWatch because it’s an Apple product and no one buys Apple products. It’s strictly an anti-Apple mindset that drives the news media. They desperately want to see Apple fail just for the sheer joy of it.

However, the news media does believe everyone will be buying discounted Galaxy Gear, Pebble Steel and Moto 360 smartwatches because they’re much cheaper than the AppleWatch and they work just as well if not better.
