Amazon listing may be hinting at new Apple TV at 22nd Oct event

amazon

Amazon’s French and German sites are currently showing the Apple TV as out of stock, with availability “from 23 October,” lending a small amount of weight to suggestions that a new Apple TV will be one of the announcements at Apple’s launch event the day before.

As Engadget notes, Amazon listings are not the most reliable of indicators, as stock levels change all the time for all kinds of reasons, but the availability date is at least an interesting coincidence.

We’ll of course have full coverage on the day.

Apple changes featured stations in iTunes Radio – likely for a demo today

upload

Apple has updated the Featured Stations in iTunes Radio, likely in preparation for a demo of the service during today’s iPhone launch.

The featured stations include Spin the Globe, Trending on Twitter, iTunes Top 100: Pop and the Pepsi-sponsored Pulse #Now.

iTunes Radio will be available on all iOS devices, including Apple TV, as well as in iTunes on both Macs and PCs, as a free ad-supported service. There will be one audio ad every 15 minutes, and one video ad per hour. However, iTunes Match subscribers will be able to listen to the service free from ads.

Thanks, Nick!

Plex 9 coming out the same day as media event. Coincidence?
