Halfbrick continues to offer all of its iOS games for free, including Fruit Ninja & Jetpack Joyride

From 9to5Toys.com:

halfbrick-free-ios-games
Last week we noted that many of Halfbrick’s top iPhone and iPad games were being made available as free downloads. Since that time, it has become official that all nine of Halfbrick’s award-winning games are free for a limited time.

Leading the pack is Fruit Ninja, one of the most well-known (and addictive) games to ever hit iOS. It typically sells for $1 on iPhone and $3 on iPad, but for the first time in over a year it won’t even cost you a dime.

Even if you don’t have the time to dive into these games right now, we still recommend downloading them in case you have an urge to play one in the future.

9to5Mac has once again scoured the App Store for all the latest app launches, price drops, noteworthy news, and updates, and we have compiled everything in a roundup below. Check it out, but keep coming back as we continually refresh the list throughout the day.

News

1. Pocket God | 99 cents
Bolt Creative just launched the 47th and “final-ish” content update for its episodic microgame app. The update brought “Episode 47: Apocalypse, Ow!” to users, access to the Apocalypse Temple’s Closet Room, and a strange Pygmy named Tom. Bolt Creative teased Episode 47 on it’s blog last friday, and it announced the new episode launch today:

The final conflict has begun. The answers to the Temple are being unleashed, and they don’t bode well for the Pygmies until they solve the ultimate puzzle and save their world.

So check out this very final-ish update (after all the apocalypse is in two days)  for Pocket God, as we get “The Runs” ready for unleashing next year!

Check out the video above for more details.

Updates

1. TuneIn Radio Pro | 99 cents
Version 3.3. went live early this morning and included a new design, the ability for users to pick up right where they left off when resuming the most recent recording or podcast, and access to 24 college football bowl games (visit http://s.tunein.com/bowlgames to learn more). TuneIn said it also improved streaming stability for a number of formats.

2. TuneIn Radio | Free
Same version and update as above—but these tweaks apply to the free version of the Pro app.

3. Evernote Food | Free
Version 2.0 launched today with an all-new design, and the app is now available on iPad. With Evernote Food, users can explore recipes, browse their clipped recipes collected in My Cookbook, discover new restaurants, add cuisines to meals, share meals easily via favorite social channels, and sync all their data.
