Apple made Shortcuts run faster on iPhone and iPad with iOS 14.6

Apple this week released iOS 14.6 to the public, which includes enhanced support for AirTag, Apple Card Family, paid subscriptions in the Apple Podcasts app, and more. However, it seems that Apple has also quietly made improvements to the Shortcuts app, which now runs actions faster on the iPhone and iPad with the latest version of the operating system.

What’s new in iOS 14.6 RC? A look at forthcoming Apple Music settings [Video]

As documented in its release notes, iOS 14.6 includes support for Apple Card Family and Podcasts subscriptions, two service enhancements that will go live once the release goes public. iOS 14.6 makes it easier for beta users to install RC build and skip other available beta updates

Apple today released the first beta of iOS 14.6 to developers even though it hasn’t yet released iOS 14.5 to the public. And while we still don’t know exactly what’s new in this update, the iOS 14.6 release notes confirm that the company has made some changes to make it easier to leave the beta program after the release of an official build.
