Today at Apple adding 60 new sessions including Photo Walks, Design Labs, more

During this morning’s special event in downtown Brooklyn, Apple announced that its program of creative and educational sessions held at retail stores across the world will be significantly transformed. The program, collectively called Today at Apple, rolled out globally in 2017 and has become an essential part of Apple’s contemporary retail experience.

Today at Apple sessions are hosted by Creative Pros, store employees with a background in the liberal arts. The sessions typically focus on creative skills like photography, coding, music making, and drawing. Also popular have been live performances and exclusive sessions, events held at Apple’s most significant locations. 18,000 sessions are now held weekly and attended by millions. In the future, Apple will expand the initiative in several ways.

60 new sessions are being added, with a focus on Apple’s newest creative products and software tools. Photo Walks are being introduced to session categories. New sessions will feature ARKit, Clips, and Siri Shortcuts. Several others are specialized to creative disciplines like photography, videography, and design.
