With a theme of “Write code. Blow minds”, Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) for 2019 will take place from June 3rd through June 7th in San Jose, CA. It’s expected that Apple will demo iOS 13, watchOS 6, the next version of macOS, and enhancements to tvOS.

A keynote speech by Tim Cook and other Apple employees will kick off the  event. WWDC will also feature over 100 technical and design-focused sessions presented by Apple engineers to help build news apps using newly announced APIs. To learn more about the event, visit Apple’s WWDC website.

Apple developer diversity WWDC

Apple has shared a Newsroom post today featuring two unique developer stories ahead of WWDC next week. One highlights a young developer who has just launched her first app, while another profiles a veteran who creates communication aids for people with disabilities. While there is great diversity among all the Apple developers in the world, Apple notes WWDC is “a gathering of dreamers, bound together by a shared belief in the power of technology to positively change the world.”
