Report: Apple developing 32-inch and 42-inch external displays with OLED

Apple’s plans to transition most of its product lines to OLED displays have been widely reported on in the past. A new report from analysts at research firm Omdia, however, sheds more light on Apple’s longer-term road map. In fact, according to this report, Apple is developing a 32-inch external display and a 42-inch external display, both with OLED screens.

The 27-inch iMac used to be one of the most popular models in Apple’s line-up, and a lot of people still view them with great affection even today. If you wanted a Mac but didn’t need portability, the machine combined all-in-one simplicity with a beautiful design and a great screen in a decent size.

Apple Studio Display firmware 15.5 drops amid speaker problem complaints

Apple is rolling out a new firmware update for its Studio Display today. As we’ve reported before, the Studio Display runs firmware based on iOS and is powered by an A13 Bionic chip inside. This combination allows Apple to roll out firmware updates to the Studio Display, and today’s update is referred to as Apple Studio Display Firmware Update 15.5.

Apple gives ‘Dream Studio Makeover’ including Mac Studio and Display to up-and-coming creative

Second beta of Studio Display Firmware 15.5 seems to improve the webcam a bit more

Studio Display webcam complaints are fair, but the importance is being overblown

Studio Display webcam complaints were one of the standout things from early product reviews. The WSJ’s Joanna Stern took the turn-of-phrase prize for her description of the image quality, describing it as reminiscent of the camera on a BlackBerry.
