Review: Whitestone Dome Glass for iPhone XS is a great screen protector w/ a unique installation process

In general, I have mixed opinions about using screen protectors with the iPhone X and iPhone XS. The phones are absolutely beautiful without any sort of protection, but with the ever-increasing cost of the devices themselves, as well as repairs, some added peace of mind can go a long way. In comes Whitestone, who has an interesting take on how a screen protector should work for the new age of curved screen devices.

It was made by case manufacturer Olixar, and today the company is one of the first to reveal an entire line of cases for the upcoming iPhones. It’s also started accepting preorders for the cases that it says depicts both the front and back of the iPhone’s new design accurately.

Oneadaptr Twist+ World Charging Station now compatible with 2016 MacBook Pro chargers

Site default logo image

I reviewed the Oneadaptr Twist+ World Charging Station back in 2015. This is a slot-in replacement for the plug section of a MacBook/Air/Pro charger, allowing it to be used in most countries around the world.

An Apple power brick with this permanently attached has lived in my travel bag for the past couple of years, alongside the cables I carry with me. But when Apple slightly changed the design of the charger for the 2016 MacBook Pro, it no longer fit – a problem the company has solved with the latest version …

Although I’m a big fan of tactile, clicky mechanical keyboards, I also enjoy the sleekness, quiet keys, and wireless nature of Apple’s Magic Keyboard. I wish Apple would make a full-size Magic Keyboard, but that doesn’t seem to be happening any time soon.

Thankfully Matias, a computer accessory manufacturer that’s been around since the 90s, is offering its own take on what an Apple-made full-sized wireless keyboard could be like. The end result — the $99 Matias Wireless Aluminum Keyboard — is an impressive rendition of Apple design principles, coupled with a few bonus features that truly make this keyboard worth considering.

Have a look at our full video walkthrough for a hands-on look at the Space Gray version of Matias’ Wireless Aluminum Keyboard.
